Facebook Group!
To accommodate the exceptional growing interest in our game, we have just created a Facebook group with some additional information. Don't forget to check out the impressive artwork that Mattias, Kim and Cecilia have done to inspire!
Snow Hard
Welcome to Snow Hard's development page!
Snow Hard is a game which brings you back the magic from when you were a child and participated in snowball wars, spiced up with some pop cultural references to tell the story of a little girl who creates her own gang of snowball throwers for heading out to rein in the rampaging snowball tribes that are terrorizing the city's parks.
And this page is dedicated to the development of this game. Here you can find everything ever written and discussed, every design decision made or discarded, everything planned and everything finished. Most importantly, this is the place where new and exciting things happen. (Sadly, you need to log in, in order to access this part of the homepage at the moment.)
REEP - The Team
In early October 2008, a small group of students at Uppsala university had been playing around with the idea of making a snowball war game. At times off from studying, they made a game engine and a simple game where you ran around and threw snowballs on cute kids in a park. It was simple - but immensely fun! It captured the interest of other students and the idea to enter the Swedish Game Awards 2009 was the perfect challange for the growing group. Yet, the greatest challange was to find artists and graphical artists. So with the help of students from University College of Arts Crafts and Design (Konstfack) the embryo of the dynamic artistic and innovative game development group REEP was finally outlined. Though REEP has extreme ambition and is always aiming for excellence in our work, we have an open door policy allowing any new talent to join our ranks on an even footing. So explore your talent and join us!
Joining Us
We need people skilled in programming and/or with all types of graphical abilities. In this pdf-file (in Swedish) we explain more!
REEP is based in Uppsala as well as in Stockholm (only 40 min apart). Don't let this bother you, however, if you live farther away. We have developed our organisation to facilitate working together over long distances.
